What You’ll Be Doing
Establishes project teams and manages & facilitates kickoff meetings; establishes team communications utilizing established SharePoint site.
Sets up & maintains projects in Clarity system; coordinates day-to-day project tasks.
Identifies & manages Risk; creates Communication Plan; creates & updates Project Phases (defines project requirements, ensures requirements are documented & signed off, develops and manages project plan, revises final scope as necessary & obtains signoffs, creates resource and timeline plan).
Provides ongoing cost projections, validates with assigned resources, makes periodic revisions, and provides regular estimates to business lead.
Develops informational & portfolio status reports; assumes management of in-flight projects as necessary for project success; conducts “lessons learned” sessions.
Ensures Requirements are documented & signed off by appropriate staff; revises Final Scope as necessary & obtains signoffs.
Ensures test plan is created & secures user Testing Signoff at completion of testing & prior to implementation.
Requirements
4 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
Qualifications
Or successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects; 12 mos. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation).
