IT Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join a dynamic team managing IT initiatives within a hybrid remote environment. This role involves collaborating with IT managers and technical leads to ensure the successful delivery of projects, utilizing established project management methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit project and initiative requirements and objectives from stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project and resource plans to guide execution.
• Cook up schedules, milestones, and individual tasks.
• Lead project and team meetings, documenting minutes and action items, and ensuring follow-up.
• Track project progress, monitor team performance, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Utilize project management software such as JIRA to monitor project schedules and adherence.
• Adapt project plans proactively to address risks and challenges, ensuring timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Proficiency in using project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A customer-focused mindset to ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
• An ability to coordinate multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Work authorization for employment in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience in IT project coordination within a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with additional project management tools or methodologies.
