IT Programmer Analyst (Contract)

About the Role

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Programmer Analyst with strong Infor Lawson ERP expertise for an exciting, long-term contract opportunity supporting enterprise business solutions. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise applications to meet complex business needs. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow, along with the ability to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot application issues, and deliver effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Infor Lawson ERP applications to support complex business requirements.
• Provide application and technical support for existing Infor Lawson solutions.
• Utilize Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize applications.
• Analyze business processes, system functionality, and technical requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor application performance and evaluate processes to support efficient departmental operations.
• Analyze historical data and trends, providing insights to support business decisions and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Assist with additional application development and support activities as business needs arise.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Infor Lawson ERP applications.
• Proficiency in Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.
• Strong application troubleshooting, technical support, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Experience analyzing business processes, evaluating system performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting applications beyond the Infor Lawson environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing technical requirements and support additional enterprise applications as needed.

• Contract Duration: 8 months
