IT Program Manager/agile methodologies/cloud projects or legacy system modernization/Federal Client

About the role

This opportunity is with DHS/CISA for a 1+ year assignment. Must be on-site in Arlington, VA. Must have PMP certification and active clearance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years in IT project management
• Program management experience on large-scale system development projects
• Direct experience leading and executing IT solutions in DHS
• Experience applying agile methodologies (backlog management, sprint planning, iterative delivery)
• Experience with cloud projects or legacy system modernization, including API integration and microservices
• Must be on-site in Arlington, VA
• At least one of the following certifications: ITIL (v5), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master)

• Cloud & data platforms: Commercial AWS, Commercial Azure, Databricks (CISA unified data platform)
• Modernization concepts: API integration, microservices, legacy system modernization
• Agile / program management tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint, Microsoft 365
• DHS governance frameworks: SELC, EA, CPIC, PPBE, RMF/ATO process
• Financial tracking and reporting tools for cost, schedule, and earned value
