IT Ops Engineer-CH Information Technology- Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the knowledge transfer across the Service Desk and ensures quick resolution to infrastructure escalations.
• Assists with purchasing and acquisitions, implementations, contract negotiations and reviews, maintenance contracts, inventory management, vendor service management, executive support, reporting and KPIs, and regulatory and compliance.
• Serves as mid-level Tier II work on IT Operations Engineering team, supporting services related to physical infrastructure and healthcare technology hardware.
• Identifies root cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creates preventive measures.
• Maintains monitoring and maintenance of enterprise hardware availability.
• Documents and hands off software, infrastructure hardware, and healthcare technology to other technical teams.
• Participates in project task implementation planning and infrastructure/healthcare technology maintenance.
• Provides input in forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for wired and wireless network systems.
• Oversees the configuration and maintenance of various environments such as LAN, WAN, IT platforms for clinical systems, client platform device management systems, telehealth infrastructure/devices, blade/rack mounted server systems, and healthcare technology platforms.
• Maintains support and maintenance of critical legacy systems and network security infrastructure.
• Maintains network and telephony physical support of + remote sites.
• Provides reports and metrics related to performance and availability.
• Participates in infrastructure and healthcare technology projects.
• Participates in a xx Service Support team for all Centra infrastructure across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Hotel, Education, and Insurance.
• Assesses and implements new infrastructure/healthcare technologies and services.
• Ensures current regulatory/compliance requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Computer Science or Math background preferred or minimum of three (3+) years of equivalent experience.
• Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Computer Science or Math background preferred or equivalent experience.
• Required Experience: Minimum of three (3+) years of progressive experience in administering enterprise-level services utilizing multiple traditional and emerging technologies.
• Preferred Experience: Minimum of five (5+) years of progressive experience in administering enterprise-level services utilizing multiple traditional and emerging technologies. Minimum of two (2+) years of experience working within a Service Desk operations role.
• Required Certifications and Licensures: Valid Virginia Driver's License.
• PREFERRED Certifications and Licensures: MTA or CCENT or Alcatel Field Engineer Certification.

Pay

$62,462.00- $93,693.00 / Year
