About the role

The role involves supporting the Technical Operations (TechOps) team within a real-time Fusion Center environment. Key responsibilities include documenting and improving operational workflows, identifying process inefficiencies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen the technical backbone of live operations.

Responsibilities

  • Document and improve operational workflows, identify process inefficiencies, and partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen the technical backbone of live operations.
  • Shadow and document live operational workflows, system interactions, and technical dependencies.
  • Map technical processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Partner with Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to streamline workflows.
  • Develop clear process documentation, standard operating procedures, and improvement recommendations.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, mission-critical operations environment supporting real-time systems.
  • Hands-on experience in at least two of the following: Windows workstation support, Real-time operations or command center environments, TCP/IP networking or systems administration, Web application or infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work onsite in a secure facility and successfully complete a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a NOC, SOC, Operations Center, or similar 24/7 support environment.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with DevOps and Infrastructure teams.
  • 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
