About the role

This position requires a proactive, adaptable professional with a passion for innovation and the ability to multitask in real-time. The ideal candidate will support a wide array of technologies, including server, cloud, and networking environments, to maintain the company’s infrastructure and game-day operations. You will thrive under pressure, manage complex technical challenges, and contribute to a high-reward, high-pressure environment.

Onsite schedule: 2nd shift (3 PM to 12 AM), Friday through Tuesday, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix environments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Administer cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads and containerization.
  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot VMware-based environments for scalability and availability.
  • Leverage monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure network reliability and performance.
  • Lead network-related incident resolution, ensuring SLAs are met and escalating issues as needed.
  • Implement and support secure networking solutions in on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Support and troubleshoot backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Rubrik and Zerto.
  • Provide game-day support on major holidays when games are played.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Cisco Nexus/Arista/Meraki switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, and ServiceNOW ticketing system.
  • Hands-on experience in NOC operations with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365, VMware) and virtualization/containerization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Network troubleshooting in data center environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating server and cloud operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions in AWS, Azure, or O365.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, SIEM platforms, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with advanced video streaming technologies and CDNs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent), ITIL, and technical certifications in servers and/or cloud (preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in a complex, multisite environment.

Pay

Base salary range: $120,000.00 - $165,000.00. Individual salaries are determined by factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
