About the role
This IT Operations Specialist role within Command Center Operations (CCO) provides a single point of contact for resolving technical problems within the CVS Health environment. CCO Analysts ensure continuity of service and deliver high-quality support within committed service levels, including logging, escalating, and resolving events, incidents, problems, and requests effectively. The role involves first-level engagement in response to alerts across the CVS Health environment, requiring quick reaction times and critical decision-making that impacts store, corporate, and employee satisfaction. The Analyst IT Operations Specialist delivers prompt, professional customer service while accurately addressing, documenting, and rectifying problems with proper follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a single point of contact for technical problem resolution within the CVS Health environment.
- Ensure continuity of service and high-quality support within committed service levels.
- Log, escalate, and resolve events, incidents, problems, and requests in the most effective manner.
- Provide first-level engagement in response to alerts throughout the CVS Health environment.
- React quickly and make critical decisions impacting store, corporate, and employee satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, professional customer service following specific guidelines.
- Accurately document, address, and rectify problems with proper follow-up.
Requirements
- 2+ years of information technology experience.
- 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool.
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring and network tools such as AppDynamics, SiteScope, Splunk, or similar Application Performance Management monitoring tools.
- Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift (6 PM – 6 AM).
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the CVS Health IT environment, its departments, and their interdependencies.
- Knowledge of operational and functional accountability of infrastructure, application, and production support.
- Understanding of gathering business impact for major incident outages.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Schedule
- Night shift: 6 PM – 6 AM.
- Rotating schedule of 3 to 4 days per week.
- Full-time, 40 anticipated weekly hours.
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $21.10 – $44.99 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate for positions in this job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
