RIVO is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to lead our IT operations and infrastructure while remaining actively involved in day-to-day support and technology management.This is not a role where you'll simply delegate work from behind a desk. We're looking for a leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, supporting end users, and working alongside their team. You'll oversee our technology infrastructure, network security, cloud platforms, and hardware environment while helping ensure our employees have the tools and support they need to succeed.You'll partner closely with leadership to maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable technology environment while managing a small IT team and helping shape the future of our technology operations.If you're the type of person who likes mentoring a team while still jumping into technical challenges, building solutions, and making a direct impact on business operations every day, we'd love to hear from you!Job DescriptionWhat You’ll DoLeadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop IT team members while establishing priorities and managing workflowParticipate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new IT staffConduct performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and employee development planningServe as an escalation point for technical issues requiring advanced troubleshootingInfrastructure & OperationsManage and maintain company hardware, software, operating systems, and network infrastructurePerform hands-on setup and troubleshooting of workstations, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripheralsConfigure and deploy technology for new hires and office expansionsMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability across all environmentsManage user provisioning, access controls, onboarding, and offboarding processesMaintain accurate inventories, documentation, warranties, licensing, and asset recordsSecurity & ComplianceMaintain and strengthen network and system security through firewalls, access controls, monitoring, backups, and recovery processesMonitor for security threats, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actionsSupport business continuity and disaster recovery planning effortsEnsure company technology environments align with security best practicesCloud & Network AdministrationAdminister Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and related servicesSupport and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and cloud network environmentsManage Fortinet firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and site-to-site connectivityPerform upgrades, maintenance, patching, and ongoing optimization of infrastructure systemsVendor & Business PartnershipManage relationships with technology vendors and service providersAssist with budgeting, purchasing decisions, and technology planningPartner with business leaders to identify technology solutions that improve operational efficiencyMaintain comprehensive system documentation, policies, procedures, and internal knowledge base resourcesQualificationsWhat We Look For5+ years of experience in systems administration and network administration within a Microsoft environment2+ years of supervisory, lead, or management experienceStrong experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and Windows Server environmentsExperience managing Fortinet or similar enterprise networking and security platformsStrong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, LAN/WAN infrastructure, routing, and firewall managementExperience with endpoint management, patching, backup solutions, and disaster recovery practicesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues from start to finishStrong communication, organizational, and project management skillsAbility to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical executionPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferredEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be consideredMicrosoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or similar certification preferredExperience supporting technology in a call center or high-volume operational environment strongly preferredAdditional InformationCompany Benefits Childcare & Family Support: Receive up to $5,000 annually in childcare reimbursement to ease the balancing act of work and family & Exclusive access to comprehensive fertility treatment coverage to financially support your family-building journeyStay Fit for Free: Join our FREE weekly group workouts and keep your health and energy levels at their peakCompany Events & Social Hours: Enjoy regular happy hours and company-wide events to celebrate achievements and build community with fellow employeesPadres Tickets: Catch a Padres game with exclusive access to season long raffle drawings in the RIVO ticket section. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $110,000.00 to $150,000.00.
