IT Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Manager of IT Systems to serve as the firm's primary technology steward, overseeing day-to-day IT operations delivered through strategic managed service partners while maintaining hands-on accountability for the core systems that support a modern law practice. The role will help ensure that attorneys and staff have secure, reliable, and efficient access to document management, Microsoft 365, collaboration, endpoint, cybersecurity, onboarding/offboarding, and legal workflow platforms.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to firm leadership and advising a broader Technology Steering Committee on the strategic direction of the firm's technology investments—including legal tech platforms, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, service-oriented IT leader with law-firm or professional services experience and strong command of document management, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, endpoint and identity management, secure remote access, attorney onboarding/offboarding, matter-centric security, e-billing, and practice-support platforms. They can manage MSPs and vendors, resolve attorney-facing escalations, strengthen cybersecurity, and advise firm leadership on practical technology, legal tech, and AI investments.
