IT Lab Support
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective IT support for lab equipment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Aid scientists with technical issues related to their lab equipment, offering solutions and guidance to minimize disruptions to their research activities.
- Maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal performance through regular updates and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct training sessions for scientists to help them understand and utilize lab equipment and software effectively.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of support activities, equipment configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with scientists and other IT team members to identify and resolve technical challenges and implement improvements to lab technology.
- Liaise with equipment vendors for support, repairs, and upgrades as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a laboratory or research environment.
- Strong knowledge of lab-specific hardware and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
