Responsibilities
- Display good interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, executives, and customers.
- Problem solve at a high level, provide exemplary customer service, manage multi-tasking, and maintain organizational skills.
- Support incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, and email.
- Provision and set up system for new hires.
- Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet SLAs.
- Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes.
- Install and configure hardware and software components on various network infrastructure devices.
- Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up-to-date.
- Administer Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, DHCP, and network firewall and switches.
- Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
Requirements
- College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience of 5 years.
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
- A+ Certification.
