IT Infrastructure Lead (on-site)

IT Infrastructure Project Manager / Systems Administrator A growing Connecticut-based manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Project Manager / Systems Administrator to lead a major technology modernization initiative. This role will support critical projects including server replacement, network upgrades, ERP modernization, Microsoft 365 administration, security improvements, and infrastructure planning. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with project management capabilities and be comfortable overseeing initiatives from concept through completion. Responsibilities Lead server and infrastructure upgrade initiativesAdminister Microsoft 365 environmentsManage networking projects including switches, routers, and connectivity improvementsSupport ERP migration and system modernization effortsCoordinate vendors, contractors, and project implementationProvide end-user support and technical troubleshootingAssist with security and compliance-related initiativesDevelop technology roadmaps and recommended best practices Requirements Strong Windows Server and systems administration experienceNetworking expertise including routing, switching, and infrastructure supportMicrosoft 365 administration experienceProven project management and vendor coordination skillsAbility to work independently in a small-company environmentStrong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Manufacturing industry experienceERP systems exposureCMMC or compliance-related project experienceInfrastructure refresh or modernization project leadership Compensation Competitive compensation anticipated in the $80,000-$100,000 range depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
