IT Imaging Specialist

About the role

This position provides technical support of assigned clinical and/or financial applications aligned with UC Davis Health goals. This position is responsible for life cycle management of clinical and/or financial applications supported by IT and will oversee day to day operations as well as project support for these applications.

Responsibilities

• 50% - Clinical System Management
• 40% - Clinical Systems Analysis
• 10% - Technical Project Management

Requirements

• Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in health sciences, information technology, computer science, or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical and/or financial practices and principles.
• Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and analyze applicability and appropriateness.
• Demonstrated ability to develop workflows and integrate technology into clinical, financial or operational workflows.
• Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation, etc.).
• Demonstrates interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
