Imaging Specialist
About the role
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Imaging Specialist to join our Imaging Centers team. This role plays a crucial part in converting hard copy records into high-quality electronic images.
Responsibilities
- Document Preparation: Sort, file, and remove staples from hard copy records to ensure all documents are maintained in the correct order and sequence prior to scanning.
- Scanning Operations: Operate specialized scanning equipment to convert physical files into high-quality electronic images, ensuring all output meets strict quality standards.
- Production Compliance: Follow all established production procedures, complete internal tracking documentation, and adhere to Imaging Center guidelines to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of basic personal computer operations and physical document handling protocols.
- Proven ability to work independently at a sustained pace, maintaining exceptional accuracy and a strong focus on detail to consistently meet production rates.
- Effective communication skills with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- The flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed, and the physical capability to frequently lift and move storage boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
