Imaging Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and all safety protocols are followed.
• Cook with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to schedule patients for imaging procedures.
• Provide patient education & preparation instructions regarding the FibroScan/Velacur.
• Performs and completes FibroScan/Velacur appointments.
• Schedules courier service for FibroScan/Velacur transport.
• Prepare, retrieve and/or assemble medical record documentation and reports from electronic medical record system.
• Aid in data collection and reports.
• Effectively utilize resources, time-management skills, and organize own work.
• Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and comply with policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Travel to multiple sites required.
• Able to lift 20 pounds.
• Able to stand for periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
