IT Engineer, Endpoints

Overview

Headway’s mission is to build a new mental healthcare system accessible to everyone. We automate administrative tasks for therapists and are expanding our platform to support the entire practice, including patient care and device management.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects to manage device lifecycles across macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS
• Build and maintain IAM workflows, configure groups and policies, and automate onboarding/offboarding processes
• Experiment with AI to improve endpoint operations and partner with security to ensure device trust
• Manage BYOD programs and endpoint security in a HIPAA-regulated environment
• Partner cross-functionally to implement OS patches and software deployments
• Own the endpoint team's roadmap and report on impact with data

Requirements

• At least 3 years as a Client Platform / Endpoint / IT Systems Engineer with experience managing macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS fleets at scale
• Fluent in JAMF Pro, Microsoft Intune, and Google Chrome Enterprise Management
• Experience with IAM, scripting, and automation tools like Bash, Python, or iPaaS
• Knowledge of BYOD programs and endpoint security in a regulated environment
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage up and across

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of identity and access management systems
• Experience with email and messaging platforms like Gmail and Slack
• Proficiency in document creation and collaboration tools like Google Workspace and Confluence
• Experience with credential management tools like 1Password
• Experience with ticketing systems like Jira Service Desk and ZenDesk
• Experience with project planning tools like Jira
• Experience with endpoint management tools like Iru, InTune, and ChromeOS
