Overview
Headway’s mission is to build a new mental healthcare system accessible to everyone. We automate administrative tasks for therapists and are expanding our platform to support the entire practice, including patient care and device management.
Responsibilities
- Execute projects to manage device lifecycles across macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS.
- Build and maintain device trust and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
- Automate onboarding/offboarding processes and integrate endpoint management with identity.
- Develop clear guidelines for choice programs, standard equipment, and device refresh schedules.
- Partner with stakeholders to implement high-impact endpoint changes, such as OS patches and software deployments.
- Manage device security and compliance controls, particularly in HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, or similar environments.
- Own the endpoint team's roadmap and report on impact using data.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure successful implementation of endpoint solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Client Platform / Endpoint / IT Systems Engineer, with hands-on experience managing macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS fleets at scale.
- Fluent in JAMF Pro, Microsoft Intune, and Google Chrome Enterprise Management.
- Solid knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including scripting, workflow configuration, and policy management.
- Experience with AI tools and techniques for endpoint operations, such as triage, remediation, and documentation.
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver impactful endpoint changes.
- Experience with BYOD programs and endpoint security and compliance controls in a regulated environment.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to organize and report on impact using data.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
- Experience with cloud-based services and platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare IT, such as HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, or similar.
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
