About the Role

Ongoing IT support for the site, two days per week – Monday and Thursday (8-hour days). This is a first shift opportunity and a great chance to get your foot in the door with a local enterprise company, grow your IT support skills, and advance your career within IT. They are currently looking for individuals who want to grow within the company.

Schedule

Part-time, two days per week – Monday and Thursday, 8-hour days. First shift. This is a fully onsite position in Whitewater, WI. Contract position.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr. Pay will be negotiable based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac), across a range of software applications
  • Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11
  • Re-image Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10
  • Assist all users with any logged IT-related incident when called upon
  • Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes, restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalate incidents to other support teams where necessary
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system
  • Install and configure new IT equipment
  • Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware
  • Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners
  • Maintain a first-class level of customer service, ensuring all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately

Requirements

  • Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience is preferred
  • IT certifications are desirable
  • CompTIA Certifications are desirable
