IT Desktop Intern

Responsibilities

• Workstation Deployment: Assemble, test and install desktop PCs, laptops, and peripherals
• Basic Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve foundational hardware and software issues
• Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate database of the organization’s computer systems, mobile devices, and active software licenses
• Software Provision: Install, update, and configure standard operating systems and corporate software
• Modern IT Deployment: Master the rollout of enterprise equipment
• Fortified Security Operations: Learn exactly what it takes to secure tech operations inside a major financial institution
• Real-World Ticket Triage: Sharpen your speed and professional communication skills managing IT requests directly inside corporate ticketing systems

Requirements

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Ability to work on multiple systems and applications
• Familiarity with PC components, printers and mobile devices
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose basic hardware and software faults
• Customer service skills
