Your Tasks This position is located in New Boston, MichiganProvide first-level IT support to end users for hardware, software, Microsoft Office 365, mobile devices and connectivity issuesInstall, configure and support end-user devices including PCs, smartphones, tablets and printersSupport users with IT-related requests and incidents within the Brose Service CatalogAssist with basic network and connectivity troubleshootingMaintain accurate IT asset inventory records using BITSUpdate and maintain IT documentationTroubleshoot technical issues and escalate when necessarySupport hardware deployment and operating system upgradesGain hands-on exposure to network and VLAN segmentation, device management and plant IT infrastructureSupport IT projects including Windows 11 migration, wireless access point replacement and end-user device upgrades Your Profile Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related fieldApproximately two years remaining before graduation preferredBasic knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshootingFamiliarity with Microsoft Office 365 applicationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsWillingness to learn new technologies and develop hands-on IT skillsAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a teamPrevious technical support, IT or customer service experience is a plus, but not required We offer you a modern working environment with our Brose working world Brose offers a high-tech work environment and a wide range of benefits.
