IT Deployment Technician Healthcare Device Deployment

About the role

We are hiring multiple IT Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale technology deployment for a major healthcare system in the Springfield, MA area. The team will be supporting the deployment of approximately 1,900 devices across the healthcare environment. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who is between jobs, looking to pick up additional project work, or interested in getting their foot in the door in IT.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the deployment of approximately 1,900 technology devices
• Help set up, move, connect, and deploy equipment throughout the healthcare environment
• Follow deployment instructions and checklists from the project leadership team
• Work alongside IT technicians and deployment team members
• Help ensure equipment is deployed to the correct locations and ready for use
• Complete basic documentation and deployment tracking
• Work a 12-hour day or overnight shift for the duration of the project

Requirements

• Some interest in IT, technology, computers, or hands-on technical work
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous IT deployment, desktop support, computer repair, help desk, electronics, or technical experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working a 12-hour shift
• Able to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently as part of a large deployment team
• Reliable transportation to the Springfield, MA area
• Dependability is critical — candidates must be able to commit to the assigned project schedule for this short-term deployment

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
