IT Cloud Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Cloud Engineer to support a federal organization focused on delivering secure, modernized IT infrastructure and endpoint management solutions within a highly regulated government environment. This position is remote. The Senior IT Cloud Engineer will lead enterprise endpoint engineering, cloud administration, device management, and security compliance initiatives across Windows and macOS environments. Responsibilities for the Senior IT Cloud Engineer include: Design, build, and maintain secure workstation images for Windows and macOS platforms, including VDI and remote access environments.Engineer and manage endpoint configurations, compliance policies, and device lifecycle operations utilizing Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, JAMF Pro, Ivanti, and KACE.Implement and oversee enterprise patch management initiatives, including deployment orchestration, validation, remediation, and rollback procedures.Configure endpoint logging, monitoring, and telemetry forwarding to enterprise SIEM and EDR platforms while supporting audit and forensic readiness efforts.Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks, remediation plans, findings reports, and validation reports in accordance with formal change management and security governance processes. Required Qualifications for the Senior IT Cloud Engineer include: 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Endpoint Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.6+ years of experience performing engineering-focused responsibilities within large enterprise environments.Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, JAMF Pro, Ivanti, and/or KACE.Experience with endpoint security, patch management, passwordless authentication, SIEM/EDR integrations, compliance enforcement, and forensic collection processes.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required. Compensation for the Senior IT Cloud Engineer include: Salary Range: $110,000 - $124,000 depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 7/22/2026.
