About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tuning and Capacity Monitoring Engineer with strong expertise in IT Capacity Management, Performance Engineering, Capacity Planning, Risk & Regulatory Compliance, Information Security Management, and ITIL-based Operations Support.
Responsibilities
- Perform capacity planning, forecasting, and trend analysis for applications, servers, databases, cloud infrastructure, and network environments.
- Monitor system performance and utilization metrics to identify potential capacity risks and performance degradation.
- Analyze application, infrastructure, and database performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.
- Develop and maintain capacity models and forecasting reports to support infrastructure investment and business growth.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Security, and Architecture teams to improve system scalability and reliability.
- Implement performance tuning recommendations across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL Capacity Management processes and industry best practices.
- Support risk management, regulatory compliance, governance, and audit activities related to technology capacity and resilience.
- Leverage statistical and quantitative analytics to predict future demand and infrastructure requirements.
- Define performance baselines, thresholds, KPIs, and service level targets.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance incidents and provide preventive recommendations.
- Collaborate with Information Security teams to ensure capacity solutions align with security standards and compliance requirements.
- Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for technology leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive knowledge management initiatives and share operational insights across support and engineering teams.
