IT Business Systems Analyst Lead

About the Opportunity:The IT BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST LEAD plays a strategic role in bridging business vision, data analysis, and technical execution. This position leads discovery, analysis, and solution design initiatives by collaborating with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams. The lead influences outcomes by managing complex problems through tools like SQL and agile methodologies, guiding projects from conception through delivery, testing, and adoption. Responsibilities:Lead requirements elicitation and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.Analyze systems, workflows, and operational needs to identify gaps and recommend improvements.Assess impacts of corporate initiatives on applications and processes to maximize value.Gather and define data requirements to support system enhancements.Develop design documentation, data models, and business cases.Support user acceptance testing activities including scenario development and defect triage.Maintain user engagement and obtain sign-off from scope through delivery.Manage system documentation and contribute to change control plans.Coordinate changes through development, testing, and production release.Evaluate automation and AI solutions to improve outcomes and efficiency.Support operations and finance systems through implementation and ongoing support.Collaborate with developers, operations, DBAs, project managers, vendors, and consultants.Assist with complex datasets, reports, and solution deployment.Evaluate software and serve as a liaison between vendors, IT, and business stakeholders.Research and recommend new or replacement solutions aligned with business needs.Collaborate with business partners to shape vision and manage backlog prioritization.Partner with project managers and leads to guide digital product development.Mentor less experienced analysts via coaching and knowledge sharing.Support development of training materials and user education.Ensure affected areas are informed and prepared for system changes. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree preferred in health-related field, business, computer science, or related area, or equivalent education and experience.Minimum of 10 years of business or systems analysis experience in IT development; at least 3 years in healthcare.Proficient in documenting logical diagrams and workflows.Familiarity with advanced IT concepts, policies, service-oriented architecture, and web services.Experienced designer of intranet or web-based systems.Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.Knowledge of database structure and design.Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, change management, and SCRUM/Agile processes.Proficiency with Microsoft-based technologies.
