About the Role
Provide strategic and tactical leadership, contributing to business needs through IT solutions. Research and recommend system development priorities, document and maintain SOX-related matters, and drive proactive, forward-thinking initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Responsible for departmental reporting, budget planning and tracking, project management, and adherence to corporate IT standards and policies. Oversee IT metrics such as helpdesk performance, downtime measurements, and delivery timelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership to improve business processes through IT solutions.
- Research and recommend system development priorities.
- Document and maintain SOX-related matters.
- Drive proactive, forward-thinking initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Handle departmental reporting and budget planning/tracking.
- Manage projects, including planning, organization, and development.
- Uphold and enforce corporate IT standards and policies.
- Monitor and drive IT metrics (e.g., helpdesk performance, downtime, deliveries).
- Oversee IT projects and operations across multiple facilities.

- General knowledge of business processes, network technologies, AD environments, VM environments, TCP/IP, VOIP, Microsoft Office, and tools for infrastructure, ERP, and PLM systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing business processes is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to provide cross-functional and organizational leadership in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for process improvement.
- Proven leadership skills, including coaching, developing, motivating, and empowering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related technical/management field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within an IT Department.
- U.S. citizenship required.
This position is on-site in Monroe, NC.
