IT Business Analyst I

Overview As a Business Analyst I, you’ll assist Implementation Managers and IT project teams in completing customer startup projects and demand requests. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation, system configuration, testing, issue identification and resolution, and providing support to internal and external customers. Responsibilities Coordinates with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation planClearly and concisely documents and maintains project artifactsWorking under the direction of a project lead, assists in the configuration and creation of custom application solutionsCompletes and documents unit testing and integration testing activitiesCoordinates and documents user acceptance testing activitiesIdentifies, defines, and resolves minor issues during the implementation process, escalating complex issues to more senior team membersUtilizes project management methodologies consistent with the common frameworkBecomes a subject matter expert in at least one area within the departmentTrains customer end-users on solution functionality and operational processesSeeks to identify improvement opportunities for process, execution, delivery, and communicationLearns new systems, processes, and tools quickly and thoroughlyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management Qualifications BA/BS degree strongly preferred, will consider comparable work experience.2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.Broad, generalist knowledge of core elements or concepts relevant to the role.Focuses on learning existing tools, resources, and processes at NFI.
