Business Analyst IT I
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Fully Remote)

About the Role
Sun Life is undergoing a large-scale SharePoint retention and migration initiative driven by OSFI findings related to improper retention practices. Globally, thousands of SharePoint sites require remediation; the U.S. alone has ~1,200 sites. All U.S. sites are being migrated to AvePoint, a SharePoint-based platform. The project was originally estimated at 4.5–5 years for the U.S., but the Board has accelerated the timeline to end of 2027 (possibly mid-2028), creating an intensive 12–18 month execution window with 17,000+ hours of work required.
This Business Analyst IT I role supports the SharePoint Migration Program as the reporting and coordination arm of a Tiger Team responsible for coordinating with Information Stewards, executing migration tasks, and ensuring retention compliance.
