Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
- Support multiple cloud-based business applications and assist with ongoing application administration.
- Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution efforts with technical teams and third-party vendors.
- Create and maintain business process documentation, including workflow diagrams and process maps using Microsoft Visio.
- Assist with project coordination and support initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Analyze application data and database structures to support reporting and issue resolution.
- Configure vendor-hosted applications using approved administrative tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and application functionality through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support hardware-related needs for business systems, including basic troubleshooting and coordination of on-site activities when required.
- Build strong relationships with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a client-facing IT Business Analyst or related technology role.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience supporting cloud-based or vendor-hosted enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience creating business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and swim lane diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
- Understanding of application databases and application configuration concepts.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement and project management methodologies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment with availability for on-site support in Memphis, TN as needed.
