IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment across all parties.
• Analyze data sets and reports to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Lead structured requirements gathering efforts using interviews, workshops, and analysis techniques to clearly define business needs and objectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and technical standards.
• Demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Working knowledge of data analysis concepts and tools.
• Strong ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• 5 years of experience in business analysis, IT delivery or related fields.

Qualifications

• Passionate about technology and its impact on business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

Skills

• Agile methodologies and practices.
• Data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex requirements.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
