IT Business Analyst

About the role

• Work directly with the VP of Technology and business leaders across the organization
• Play a key role in a new data warehouse, reporting, and AI initiative
• Gain exposure to Snowflake, Power BI, AI tools, and enterprise business systems

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of a new enterprise data warehouse
• Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units
• Assist with data cleansing, validation, and data quality initiatives
• Work alongside external consultants to support data and reporting projects
• Develop reports, dashboards, and business insights using Power BI and related tools
• Support future AI and automation initiatives utilizing tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
• Document workflows, processes, and business requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology

Requirements

• 2-5 years of Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Experience working with databases, data structures, and data analysis
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Experience with data cleansing, reporting, or business intelligence initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies preferred
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot preferred
• Financial services, private equity, or commercial real estate experience is a plus
• Ability to work onsite in Boston four days per week

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
