About the Opportunity
The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining and securing the organization's IT infrastructure, focusing on identity and access management, endpoint security, and network systems. This role supports operational efficiency by automating processes and resolving escalated technical issues, thereby enhancing overall IT service delivery and security posture.
Responsibilities
- Manage secure configuration and lifecycle of identity and access across multiple platforms including Okta, AWS, GitHub, Google Cloud, and G Suite.
- Administer and secure endpoint devices (macOS, Windows, Linux) using MDM tools.
- Oversee in-office LAN, WiFi, audio-visual, conferencing, and computing systems remotely.
- Analyze support ticket trends to develop automation and self-service solutions.
- Act as technical escalation point for help desk unresolved issues.
- Manage employee IT lifecycle for onboarding and offboarding.
- Collaborate with Security for audit readiness and compliance.
- Participate in weekly sprints and IT-related projects.
Requirements
- Experience with macOS, Windows 11, various Linux distributions, Okta SAML, GitHub, Slack, Google G Suite, Jamf, Zoom, Jira, and Confluence.
- Background in fast-paced IT environments prioritizing security, automation, and system reliability.
- Capability to serve as a technical escalation expert and proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed, remote team.
- Proficiency in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
- Skills in configuring small office networking equipment.
- Experience scripting in bash; knowledge of Node.js or Python is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Agile project management frameworks.
Pay Range
Annual base compensation ranges from $83,300 to $112,700 for most US locations, with 5% to 10% higher for regions with increased cost of living. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and other relevant factors.
