Ismail Industries Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading confectionery and food manufacturing companies behind iconic brands including CandyLand, Bisconni, and SnackCity, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Manager – MIS to join our team at the Head Office in Karachi.

Responsibilities

• Manage master data for customers, distributors, products, pricing, schemes, and routes while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business policies.
• Provide functional support for secondary sales applications by troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth system availability for business users.
• Maintain Change Requests Documents (CRD) according to business requirements, coordinating development and testing activities, and deployment of change requests.
• Plan and execute UAT, prepare test scenarios and validation reports, and facilitate business sign-offs prior to production deployment.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues, monitor SLAs, and maintain issue logs, root cause analyses, and closure documentation.
• Conduct end-user training sessions, develop user manuals and SOPs, and provide ongoing support to enhance user adoption and system effectiveness.
• Support BI reporting and dashboards by ensuring data accuracy, validating reports, and maintaining the timely availability of MIS for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in secondary sales systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in secondary sales software support, master data management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), vendor coordination, and user training.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• FMCG or distribution industry experience is preferred; experience with Salesflo application is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, data analysis, and project planning and execution.
