About the role

This role presents an exciting journey into the world of consultative sales, focusing on helping businesses harness the power of Lenovo’s and our partners' technology. It's about enabling companies to evolve through automated, orchestrated, and multi-cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Leveraging your knowledge in data center technologies for consultative sales
  • Engaging with enterprise and acquisition prospects across various industries
  • Understanding and articulating the market dynamics and benefits of advanced data center technologies, especially in areas like Converged, Hyper-converged, and Software Defined solutions
  • Developing and executing a business plan to meet and exceed your sales targets
  • Building and expanding customer relationships through a strategic sales planning approach

Requirements

  • Show potential in driving data center opportunities and articulating solution benefits
  • Have foundational knowledge of the IT marketplace and advanced data center technologies
  • Demonstrate budding skills in consultative selling, technology sales, and communication
  • Be eager to learn about complex sales cycles and strategies to engage with SMB and Public Sector customers

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Entry-level experience or internships in sales, particularly in technology-focused roles
  • Exposure to or interest in Converged, Hyperconverged, and Software Defined Solutions

Skills

  • Knowledge development in compute platforms, particularly Servers used in the data center and edge
  • Understanding of storage solutions, Hyper Visors, and Software Defined Storage
  • Understanding of Hybrid Cloud Solutions, Converged Platforms, Containers, Microservices, and Cloud Workload Placement
  • Develop and expand skills in solution sizing and systems management
