About the role

ISAS currently has multiple openings for Architectural, Archaeological, and Historic Archaeologist positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological investigations and analyses
• Prepare reports and documentation on archaeological findings
• Collaborate with other professionals in the field
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, History, or related field
• Experience in archaeological fieldwork and laboratory analysis
• Knowledge of archaeological methods and theories
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and writing skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, History, or related field preferred
• Experience with GIS software and digital data management
• Knowledge of cultural resource management policies and procedures

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in remote and field-based environments
• Strong attention to detail
