IS Technician

About the role

HPC‑Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking HydroBlaster/Field Technicians to work at various customer locations. The team member will set up and assist with water‑treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other responsibilities while representing HPC‑Industrial and building continuous relationships with clients. This position is ideal for transitioning military personnel looking to leverage their skills in civilian life.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
• Hand‑on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate special equipment such as ultra‑high‑pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
• Activate pumping and specialized hydroblasting or chemical cleaning equipment as required.
• Examine cleaned surfaces to verify conformance to company and customer expectations.
• Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment.
• Dispose of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑the‑job training, and relevant experience.
• English language proficiency sufficient to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with the company’s driving policy for company or personal vehicle use on business.
• OSHA certification may be required.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operation (e.g., fire extinguishers).
• Valid TWIC or ability to obtain one.
