IS Educational Aide

About the Role

Hamilton Local School District is seeking a full-time Educational Aide assigned to Hamilton Intermediate School. This position is contracted through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and involves working 7.5 hours a day under a 187-day contract per year.

Pay

Current base daily rate: $136.95.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students.
• Work with students both individually and in small groups.
• Interact in a positive manner with staff, students, and parents.
• Promote good public relations through personal appearance, attitude, and conversation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Acceptable Ohio BCI & FBI background checks.
• Obtain an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education (once hired).
