Ironworker - Mehoopany, PA

Responsibilities

• Rigging structural steel
• Connecting and bolting-up of structural steel
• Detail work on structural steel, including installation of bar joist, bridging, decking, and handrail
• Welding of structural steel (stick welding) and rigging of equipment
• Understanding and following all safety rules and regulations associated with the industrial steel industry
• Using required tools to perform daily tasks as needed
• Performing other duties as qualified and assigned outside of normal work functions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
• Must have transportation and good communication skills
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius; ability to travel is a plus
• Ability to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
• Must comply with Substance Abuse Prevention Policy, including post-offer/pre-employment drug screening
