What You'll Do as an Ironworker
- Install and erect structural steel to keep projects on schedule.
- Ensure steel connections, alignment, and installation meet quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints and layout instructions accurately.
- Maintain jobsite standards by protecting materials, maintaining tools, and keeping the jobsite organized.
- Follow safety protocols and speak up when necessary.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $28 - $36 per hour based on experience.
- Per Diem Available: $600 - $700 per week for workers traveling outside the project area.
- Overtime Opportunities: Additional hours available to boost your income.
- Consistent Work: Ongoing steel erection projects in the Columbia / Annapolis Junction area.
- Over Time Available: 50 - 60 hours of work per week, so plenty of overtime.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years Ironworker Experience in steel erection.
- Steel Erection Skills: rigging, connecting, plumbing, and bolting.
- Ability to Read Plans and follow construction layouts.
- Personal Ironworker Tools.
- U.S. Citizenship or Naturalized Citizenship.
