About the role

Loenbro is seeking experienced Ironworker Foreman for projects in the Great Falls, MT area. The role involves assisting in the supervision of activities to ensure optimum productivity and compliance, coordinating tasks, and overseeing workers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and supervises daily activities of crew.
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
  • Supervise and train workers.
  • Ensure labor and resources are adequate.
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed.
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget.
  • Resolve problems when they arise.
  • Report progress to managers, engineers, etc.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Ironworker Foreman OR Structural Steel Foreman.
  • TWIC Card and/or Real ID’s are required.
  • Able to manage team members and multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, and detailed drawings.
  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks during long shifts.
  • Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Pay

The project is for the United States Army Corps of Engineers and will require a background check to gain site access. Davis-Bacon wages will be paid.
