IR Special Procedure Technologist (Non-Exempt)

About the role

Advanced IR Special Procedures Technologist responsible for performing complex imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy and interventional radiology to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Support during intricate medical procedures
• Serve as a resource and trainer
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or RCIS training
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Certification via ARRT (R) or RCIS required
• BLS certification required

Skills

• Proficiency in imaging equipment operation
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
