About the Role
Perform advanced imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy and interventional radiology to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate specialized imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Support complex medical procedures
- Serve as a resource and trainer for staff
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or RCIS certification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification
- BLS certification
- State licensure (if required)
Skills
- Proficiency in imaging equipment operation and software
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
