About the role

The Advanced IR Special Procedures Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy and interventional radiology to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and supporting complex procedures. The role involves serving as a resource and trainer, with a strong focus on patient care and collaborative communication with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or RCIS certification
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS, and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• State licensure as required

Physical Requirements
