IR Special Procedure Technologist (Full-Time, Days)

About the role

We are seeking an IR Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, supporting diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include operating specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and assisting during complex medical interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical hours completed or RCIS training certification
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience
• State licensure may be required based on location
• Certification in AART (R) or RCIS, along with Basic Life Support (BLS)

Skills

• Expert knowledge of imaging technologies, protocols, and limitations
• Ability to mentor and train less experienced technologists
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and software
• Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
• Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and squat as needed
