IR Special Procedure Technologist (Full-Time, Days)

About the role

We are seeking an IR Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, supporting diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Operating specialized imaging equipment with precision and adherence to protocols
• Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and effective communication throughout procedures
• Assisting healthcare professionals during complex interventional procedures
• Mentoring and training less experienced technologists
• Maintaining high-quality diagnostic images using imaging software
• Collaborating within a healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program, RCIS certification, or equivalent
• At least one year of relevant experience
• State licensure may be required based on location
• AART (R) or RCIS certification, along with BLS
• Expertise in imaging technologies, protocols, and software
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching
