Position Summary
Freedom Behavioral Hospital is seeking a qualified IOP Program Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Greenville and Cleveland, MS.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide group, individual, and family therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Complete psychosocial assessments and clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team (physicians, nursing, case management, etc.)
- Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with appropriate community resources
- Maintain compliance with CMS, Joint Commission (JCAHO), and facility policies
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the medical record
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and performance improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Current licensure in Mississippi as one of the following: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting
- Experience in IOP, inpatient psychiatric, or outpatient mental health programs
- Strong skills in group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention
- Knowledge of discharge planning and community resource coordination
