About the role

Piper Sandler is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President for its Healthcare Services team based in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or Charlotte, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Lead junior bankers throughout a transaction, including reviewing work, setting expectations, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage client relationships and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Write compelling selling memorandums and presentations with strong business writing skills.
  • Show meaningful M&A transaction experience and possess strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
  • Partner with corporate clients and financial sponsors to provide advisory and financing services related to mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring, and corporate & venture services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of investment banking experience or MBA degree with 3+ years of investment banking or closely related experience.
  • Significant experience in M&A transactions.
  • Strong business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
  • Exceptional work ethic, initiative, and leadership potential.

  • Proven ability to manage and mentor junior bankers.

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $250,000 per year. Placement is dependent upon level of experience. This position is also eligible for annual incentive compensation, which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.

Schedule

This position is full-time and permanent.
