Investment Banking Vice President - Healthcare IT

About the role

Piper Sandler is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President for its Healthcare IT team based in Minneapolis, MN, Boston, MA, or New York, NY. The successful candidate will possess 5+ years of investment banking experience or an MBA with 3+ years of relevant experience, including meaningful M&A transaction experience. They should be able to lead junior bankers, demonstrate strong business writing skills, and manage client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead junior bankers throughout transactions, including reviewing work, setting expectations, and providing constructive feedback
• Write compelling selling memorandums and presentations
• Show strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Display exceptional work ethic, enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential

Requirements

• 5+ years of investment banking experience or MBA with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Meaningful M&A transaction experience required
• Strong business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
• Client management skills
• Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for individuals expressing interest in this position is $250,000 per year. Placement is dependent upon level of experience. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.

Schedule

This position is full-time and requires regular office attendance.
