About the role

We are seeking a Sr Associate / Vice President in Investment Banking supporting our Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) group. You will play a key leadership role in the origination and execution of complex transactions while developing relationships with key clients and driving new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and lead execution of M&A Advisory transactions.
  • Manage day-to-day deal processes, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
  • Oversee the development and quality control of financial models and client materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on deal execution matters.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in collaboration with senior bankers.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Analysts and Associates.
  • Travel as requested by senior deal team members and or clients.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate brings experience as an M&A Investment Banker supporting the M&A or a Coverage IB team in an M&A capacity for a bulge bracket or leading boutique advisory firm.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent: in Finance, Business or equivalent degree - Required.
  • A Master's Degree/ MBA: MBA - Preferred.
  • 6+ Years in Corporate Finance as an M&A Banker or Coverage Banker with significant M&A experience.
  • Strong leadership, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Prior proven transaction execution experience in investment banking.
  • Advanced technical and strategic advisory capabilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate reputational, operational and credit risk.
  • Experience with sell-side and buy-side merger and acquisition processes.

Qualifications

  • SIE, 79 and 63 certifications.
