About the role

Provide client relationship management and investment banking services, including strategic advisory services to corporate and private equity clients related to buyside and sellside M&A, debt and equity capital raising. Industry coverage includes industrials, financial sponsors, consumer and retail, healthcare, financial institutions, energy, and technology, media and telecom.

Over time, generate a balanced mix of M&A, debt and equity capital raising of $7 million to $30 million, subject to sector attributes. Position the bank’s treasury and payment solutions product suite, as well as floating rate and F/X, private wealth, insurance, and other services. Serve the bank’s corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and traditional investment banking services in partnership with Commercial and Corporate Banking coverage professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior CIB professionals.
  • Perform assigned duties with increased independence, including due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.
  • Serve as a member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams, providing credit underwriting support, drafting information memoranda, developing management and investor presentations, and facilitating the deal process from start to finish.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • 2 years of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.
